DEFINITION

Purifying drinking water involves water treatment plant management personnel to closely track all process measures to ensure that the water meets both federal and state drinking water requirements when the customer turns the tap on at home or at work.

The water flows through filters consisting of layers of crushed anthracite rock, sand and gravel after water has gone through the flocculation and sedimentation phase to extract the sediment / particulate matter. The filtration method eliminates extra minute particles, which are not removed by the method of flocculation and sedimentation.
