A Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Apparatus is designed and manufactured to treat water from wells, lakes and rivers. Brackish water is typically found at the mouth of rivers leading into the ocean which reflects in the higher salinity present compared to fresh water however not as high of a salinity as seawater, it is many times a combination of the both. In order to purify the brackish water for healthy consumption, the water has to be put through Reverse Osmosis. Water’s natural reaction is to move toward higher salinity content in order to reach a balance, this process is called "Osmosis". The Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Apparatus counter acts the natural process by using a higher pressure pump which forces pressure onto the water that exceeds that of natural causing Osmosis. The higher pressure pump forces the brackish water through a semipermeable membrane toward a lower salinity concentration. The membrane prevents the natural salts and impurities from staying with the water make the water pure and useable. The water is not in now separated from all things preventing it from being usable and the remaining salts and impurities are drained from the apparatus while limiting the amount of environmental impact.

The TW-1.8K-325 system was designed to produce 1,800 GPD at a feed water TDS of a maximum 1,000 ppm, it was selected from our RO-200 series and came complete with a microprocessor control panel along with twin alternating high pressure pumps. Since the initial startup, the system has been functioning accordingly with minimal mode troubleshooting.
