Water Challenges: Malaysia contains huge amounts of brackish water sources due to the mixture of freshwater and saltwater. In ocean water, the amount of TDS such as salt and sodium chloride is measured to be around 10,000 - 45,000 PPM, while in brackish water averages TDS levels between 1,000 - 10,000 PPM. For this reason, brackish water is not as concentrated in total dissolved solids (TDS) as seawater, but also not as capable of being consumed or used in commercial and industrial applications that require fresh, clean water.

Applied Solution: Pure Aqua specializes in reverse osmosis systems to meet any water treatment need. An array of brackish water reverse osmosis systems were completed for a major company in Malaysia for the purposes of providing drinking water for small villages. The fourteen identical systems are designed to filter groundwater at a rate of fifteen hundred gallons per day. The systems featured a stainless steel frame, advanced microprocessor control panel, flow meters and pressure gauges.
