• PLC control panel (Siemens S7-1200).
• High pressure piping in SS 316 and low-pressure piping in SCH 80 PVC
• Integrated flushing & CIP system, located on the RO skid

Water Concern: The food industry consists of a multitude of aspects to produce edible products for human consumption. From actual product ingredient to sanitary procedures, purified water is crucial to sustain the quality of the product and overall production. This customer intended to supply and treat water from the reject stream of an existing RO system. The challenge was to reduce the TDS to meet the requirements of the food industry since the feed source is a stream of concentrated contaminants. The feed TDS was 17,800 PPM and therefore required an efficient water treatment system to remove these contaminants as well as supply the plant with ultimately purified water.

Applied Solution: This industrial brackish water RO system was recommended to thoroughly purify the high concentrate of contaminants from an RO reject stream. Due to the water source for this project, there is no pre-treatment necessary. The water is fed into the RO membranes to optimize water production from these systems and collectively generate less overall reject. Our RO systems deliver high performance at low life-cycle costs, saving on energy and increasing proficiency.
