Reverse Osmosis is a pressure driven process that raises the water pressure on the high TDS of the membrane to well above the osmotic pressure and forces the water to flow through the membrane to the low TDS (product water) side of the membrane. Reverse Osmosis also known as hyper filtration, is used to purify water and remove salts and other impurities.

Country: Iraq
System/Product: Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Systems
Flow Rate: 15 x 1,000 & 3 x 9,000 & 3 x 30,000 GPD
Components & Brands:
- TFC spiral wound membranes
[custom-specifications]
Estuaries and river openings are places where brackish water can be found. This type of water lies in between fresh water and seawater. It’s not as clean as fresh water, yet not so highly concentrated in salt as seawater. Even if it has a mild salt concentration, it is still not encouraged for consumption.

[custom-features]
The 30 custom-made BWRO systems produce 3,000GPD to10,000GPD of drinking water with TDS less than 300mg/L where manufactured for Iraq. Due to the 5,000PPM salinity, systems were designed based on TFC spiral wound membranes. Temperature ranges between 25° C and 35° C.
