Brackish RO Unit 600 GPD - USA

Product Description

RO systems are powerful systems that are capable of extracting large amounts of salt, minerals and other contaminants from water sources such as wells, rivers and lakes. To master this mission, the systems use a popular technology known as "reverse osmosis". Reverse osmosis is ordered with the inversion of a natural process known as "osmosis". Osmosis is ordered by nature to transport salt through a semipermeable membrane from an area of low concentration of solute to an area of higher concentration of solute in order to obtain an even amount of concentration of solute on both sides of the membrane. Reverse osmosis combats osmosis through a pressure pump that exerts high pressure on the highly concentrated side of the semipermeable membrane, moving only water molecules through the small pores of the membrane, while salts, organic compounds and other pollutants refuse to pass. The drinking water finally emerges and is collected on the permeate side of the membrane, while salts and other contaminants are thrown into a stream of brine and then into a drain.

[custom-specifications]

Brackish water is water that is taken from estuaries and river openings. It salt concentration falls in between fresh water and seawater. Not as pure as fresh water, yet not as salty as seawater. Its mild salty concentration is discouraged for human consumption. To generate purified water from brackish water, a water filtration system relies on a method called "reverse osmosis" for assistance.
