Water Concern: SAR (Sodium Adsorption Ratio) is a commonly used measurement of soil health among crop yielders. It consists of a ratio between sodium and calcium/magnesium in the water that is fed to crops. SAR Reduction is an expression to combat the sodium threat irrigation water has on crops. However, water supplied from a reverse osmosis machine will ensure zero to low SAR by reducing almost all salt from the water to provide optimal plant growth.

Applied Solution: Since the source of water the company planned on filtering was well water, the water analysis is crucial to determining the most appropriate solution. Per the results, a reverse osmosis system was recommended to be the best solution to treat 2000 PPM and purify the well water to consist of only 20 PPM. This system filtered their contaminated well water to produce water of utmost quality for irrigation and to most optimally nourish their crops at the capacity of 15,000 GPD. This type of system is equipped to overcome almost any kind of contamination or fouling. System designs are customizable to meet specific output and purification requirements.
