Seawater reverse osmosis systems are built for highly inconsumable water sources like the sea, removing enormous amounts of salt and other contaminants from them. Denying salts, particulates, and other contaminants from carrying on, water molecules are only permitted through the tiny pores of the membrane. Fresh, purified water emerges on the permeate side and is ready to be collected while salt, particulates, and other contaminants are discharged into a drain from the concentrate side.
[custom-specifications]
Water-scarce countries such as Bermuda require a large amount of water distribution systems in order to supply their citizens with adequate amounts of freshwater.

[custom-features]
Pure Aqua, Inc. designs and manufactures water treatment systems in addition to seawater reverse osmosis systems. This commercial seawater RO machine was completed in November 2014 and sent to Bermuda to treat seawater and make it consumable. The machine sent to Bermuda was created to treat water of about 40,000 ppm TDS and produce 3,800 gpd. Prior to being treated in the reverse osmosis portion the water being treated goes through a multi media filter in order to complete the process.
