Water Challenges: Providing clean drinkable water for Municipal use was the goal of this project. With the high levels of salt and minerals not to mention possible presence of bacteria and other contaminants, it’s definitely a challenge to make seawater safe for human consumption. Using our custom-designed commercial watermaker systems this was made possible for our client in Malaysia. From water-makers to industrial sized seawater purification, we offer a full range of systems for various applications.

Applied Solution: Our engineering team designed two commercial watermaker RO systems to for our client to supply their community with a public safe water source. Designed to withstand and eliminate the complex parameters contained in seawater, these systems included pre/post-treatment to preserve the longevity of the membranes which lead to the sustainability of the RO system. The process our systems employ is by using a high-pressure pump that feeds the salty water through semi-porous membranes preventing salts and other organic substances from flowing through. Pure Aqua’s commercial watermaker systems are manufactured to supply industrial sites with as much efficient and cost-effective water treatment systems for industrial use, whilst preserving sodium chloride less than 100 ppm.
