This is a fully equipped containerized desalination system with air conditioning, LED lights, and isolation. The capacity of this system is 100,000 gallons per day with a maximum 36,000 TDS.
This system will be stationed by the beach filtering ocean water. The water will first go through a media filter that has been custom designed to have low velocity for optimal filtration quality. The system also includes high-quality stainless-steel piping and a nonmetallic cartridge filter to resist the risk of corrosion from seawater.
Chemical dosing system is included to take care of pre-chlorination, post chlorination and pH adjustments. A duplex stainless-steel pump is used to ensure the flow rate and back washing components of the system are automatically functional. A whole electrical system is set up to control all the valves and pressure gauges of the plant. To ensure the environment in the container is kept consistent for the operations of the system, and the air conditioner is installed in the container. Everything has been designed and structured particularly to make the process easy for the customer with the filtration systems on one side and the electrical monitor on the other.
Water Challenges: As part of our project’s initiative in Venezuela, producing freshwater through our custom-engineered seawater reverse osmosis systems were required in several different locations. Polluted water from seawater were drawn into our system, requiring pretreatment of the contaminated water body before discharge on-site. This treatment is necessary to rid the seawater of its extremely high concentrations of salts, minerals, bacteria, and other harmful impurities to humans when consumed.
