ELECTRODEIONIZATION

Electrodeionization(EDI) removes ions from aqueous streams, typically in conjunction with reverse osmosis (RO) and other purification devices. EDI produces ultrapure water up to 18.2MW/cm, and provides several other benefits important to water treatment companies such as:

Electrodeionization is also a preferred choice due to its chemical-free technology and unmatched ability in greatly reducing ions in water. There anion and cation exchange resins available for use that are constantly regenerated by electrical currents. Cells makeup the EDI modules that are paired together and holding a cathode and anode on each side.
