Mesotrophic lakes are usually consisting of pure water, with a wide array of aquatic organisms and plants residing at the deepest parts of these lakes. Medium level plants provide adequate amounts of nutrients to the water. Mesotrophic is a term that equates to terrestrial habitations that is considered as a median between oligotrophic lakes and eutrophic lakes.
