NUISANCE CONTAMINANT

Constituents in water, which are not normally harmful to health but may cause offensive taste, odor, color, corrosion, foaming, or staining. Nuisance contaminants represent not as great of a threat as compared to biological or chemical contaminants. The best instance of a real-life nuisance contaminant situation is when insignificant chemicals make direct contact onto human skin. What occurs at the most is limited irritability and perhaps some skin marks but overall becomes a minor situation.
