POU-TREATMENT

Point-Of-Use treatment. Water treatment at a limited number of outlets in a building, for less than the whole building. POU tools are used to purify water that is specifically used for the purposes of cooking and consuming, mainly within a certain number taps or a single tap. This is what differs POU treatment from POE treatment tools that are used to water that make their way to households, facilities, schools, or businesses.
