Toray's MEMBRAY® MBR Membranes are PVDF flat sheet membranes that consist of between 300 to 600 membranes and pore sizes of around 0.08 microns with a tight distribution pathway. These MBR modules are utilized as an integration for membrane filtration and biological wastewater purification. The process starts with biological treatment and then follows with the treated water being filtered from the activated sludge by rotary screen filters. Toray has developed this overall process to ensure that plant's will maximize their performance and long-term productivity.
