Pure Aqua provides UV disinfection systems for the purposes of removing biological impurities such as bacteria, viruses, and pathogens from various water sources without the use of harmful chemicals. The disinfection process works by transmitting powerful energy rays from UV lamps into the water that effectively attacks the organisms DNA, thus neutralizing them. While the microorganisms are then placed into a stainless steel cell, the treated water is poured out through the top port of the cell and ready to be consumed. UV sterilization is highly effective in killing impurities found in water in a very short mount of time.
