BWRO Equipment 600 GPD - Puerto Rico

Product Description

Commercial BWRO equipment are essential in producing clean potable water for human consumption, everyday use, and to satisfy commercial needs. This task depends on the use of the reverse osmosis technology for assistance. Reverse osmosis is tasked with removing enormous amounts of salts, suspended solids, and other impurities found in water by applying extreme pressure to the highly concentrated saline side of a semi-permeable membrane. The pressure is applied through the use of a high pressure pump which forces salty water across the membrane only permitting water molecules to flow through the small pores while stopping salts and other impurities from passing through. Salt, suspended solids, and the other impurities are dumped into the brine stream then into the drain while clean, potable water emerges and is ready to be collected on the permeate end of the membrane.

[custom-specifications]

Brackish water is water that is taken from estuaries and river openings. It salt concentration falls in between fresh water and seawater. Not as pure as fresh water, yet not as salty as seawater. Its mild salty concentration is discouraged for human consumption. To generate purified water from brackish water, a water filtration system relies on a method called "reverse osmosis" for assistance.

[custom-features]

A commercial BWRO equipment was supplied to a major hotel in Puerto Rico to lower hardness, TDS, and odor from well water. The equipment included multimedia and activated carbon filters to remove particulates, odor, color and taste, and a water softener to remove hardness. The BWRO system was designed to produce 600 GPD at a feed water TDS of a maximum 2,000 ppm, it was selected from our RO-200 series and came complete with a microprocessor control panel. Since the initial startup, the water maker has been functioning accordingly with minimal troubleshooting.
