CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE

A chemical that is widely used for water disinfection, for instance in swimming pools or water purification plants. It is especially useful because it is a stable dry powder and can be made into tablets.Calcium hypochlorite are identified as white solids that take the form of tablets, and are added to pools with the intent on eradicating germs. When utilized correctly, the pool water will be much safer due to the destruction of germs that are responsible for causing illnesses such as skin infections, swimmer’s ear, diarrhea, etc. Other forms of water bodies such as jacuzzis, and spas are also laced with calcium hypochlorite for the purposes of disinfection.
