DISSOLVED AIR FLOTATION (DAF)

A procedure of induced flotation with very fine air bubbles or 'micro bubbles'. Dissolved Air Flotation systems are highly efficient in eliminating total dissolved solids (TDS), FOGand other contaminants from water and wastewater. DAF has a basic process that works by producing small bubbles that align themselves with solid particles which causes them to flat as the sludge is skimmed off the water surface. However, creating a DAF system for a serious application is not easy by any means. It is important to note that there are several different kinds of DAF systems that are custom designed for various applications. Each of these systems is manufactured to handle unique challenges, so each result in its own unique solutions.
