Since its initial startup, the machine has been operating accordingly with minimal trouble-shooting. High brackish reverse osmosis machines lend themselves to eliminating large quantities of salt and most other contaminants discovered in water. They are utilized in regions where consumable water is salty and is embodied with dissolved minerals which can be difficult to be removed by any other methods. These machines utilize the process of reverse osmosis to purify salty water. A high pressure pump is employed to push water molecules through a semi-porous membrane keeping salt and other contaminants behind. Purified water is gathered from the permeate side of the membrane, while salt and other contaminants are discarded down the drain from the concentrate side. The average brackish reverse osmosis machine includes multimedia and activated carbon filters, a water softener with brine tank, the RO system with membranes, and a UV sterilizer post-treatment.

Reverse osmosis systems have continued to be the most preferred choice of water purification for well water treatment, and has resulted in the production of large quantities of freshwater from these sources.
Applied Solution: Pure Aqua, Inc. successfully manufactured and supplied a high brackish industrial reverse osmosis machine to a major company in Yemen. The objective was to produce drinking water with less than 500 ppm. The product water capacity was 130,000 GPD from a well water of approximately 4,500 ppm TDS. The BW-130K-3680-3 machine was selected from our RO-400 series and came with pre & post treatment and a cleaning skid. It came complete with a high pressure stainless steel pump, an advanced PLC, and seawater membranes to handle the high TDS.
