Skid Mounted Commercial RO Machine 1200 GPD - USA

Product Description

Osmosis naturally directs salt through a partially porous membrane from an area with low saline concentration to an area with high saline concentration. Its purpose is to attain an equal amount of saline concentration on both sides of the membrane. Reverse osmosis comes in to direct osmosis in the opposite direction. The process begins with directing feed water through a number of pre-filters to take out particles and solids from water. Once the water leaves the pre-filters, it then goes into a water softener tank to take out hardness that can damages the membranes within the machine. After the water softener tank, it carries on through the actual RO machine where it passes through partially porous membranes. At this stage the membranes take out particles that the pre-filters missed. The membranes allow only water to pass through while rejecting salts, solids, and other contaminants from passing through. At the end, purified water emerges on the permeate side while salt, solids, and other contaminants are thrown into the drain from the concentrate side.

[custom-specifications]

Estuaries and river openings are places where brackish water can be found. This type of water lies in between fresh water and seawater. It’s not as clean as fresh water, yet not so highly concentrated in salt as seawater. Even if it has a mild salt concentration, it is still not encouraged for consumption.

[custom-features]

Pure Aqua successfully manufactured and supplied a skid mounted commercial RO machine to a major company in New Jersey, USA. The RO machine came complete with activated carbon filtration for chlorine removal, water softener to remove hardness, and a UV sterilizer to kill bacteria. It came pre-piped and wired all on one skid controlled by one microprocessor control panel. The machine was designed to produce 1,200 GPD at a feed up to 1000 PPM TDS. The TW-1.2K-225 was selected from our RO-200 series.

From its initial start-up, it has been running smoothly with minimal trouble-shooting. As a result, the company has had a reliable and steady supply of fresh, purified water at a cost far less than shipping water to the site. Reverse Osmosis is a technology that strives to remove a certain amount of salt and other contaminants from non-consumable water sources such as lakes, wells, and the sea. A high pressure pump is utilized to combat the osmotic pressure of a natural process called “Osmosis”.
