With the help of reverse osmosis, these systems are capable of taking out enormous amounts of salt and other contaminants found in water. Reverse osmosis is a process which starts off by applying excessive pressure to the extremely concentrated saline side of a semi-porous membrane through the use of a high pressure pump. Excessive pressure is applied in order to transport highly concentrated salty water across a semi-porous membrane, only allowing water molecules to pass through the tiny pores while salt and the other contaminants are rejected and later discarded into the drain from the concentrate side. This is when clean, potable water comes out on the permeate side and is ready to be collected for everyday use.

This skid mounted RO system was supplied to a major company in the Philippines. The RO system came complete with pretreatments of multimedia and activated carbon filters along with chemical dosing systems. It was pre-piped and wired all on one skid controlled by one microprocessor control panel. The system was designed to produce 15,000 GPD at a feed up to 4,000 PPM TDS. The BW-15K-1040 was selected from our RO-200 series. From its initial start-up, the system has been working properly with minimal trouble-shooting. Skid mounted RO systems are systems that are built to treat and produce potable water generating from wells, lakes, rivers, and even the sea.
