The system included a twin double pass RO followed by an EDI system. The waste coming from both double pass RO’s is treated by a third RO. The waste water coming from the manufacturing process is fed to an ultrafiltration system and recycled back to the RO system.

Water Challenges:

The equipment used in power treatment plants such as boilers necessitate the highest purity water. Heat efficiency issues arise when large amounts of contaminants are exposed to the equipment through water usage, along with greater degrees of corrosion, higher fuel consumption, and lower productivity.



Applied Solution:

Utilizing reverse osmosis systems followed by electrodeionization is the most preferred water treatment process in power plant treatment. It is basically a combination of two water purification processes to ensure the production of the highest purity of water for sensitive applications.



Reverse osmosis eliminates the scaling minerals from water which allows power plants to work to their full capacities, while saving money.
