Water Filter System 138,240 GPD - Iraq

Product Description

Multi-media filters are designed to take out suspended particles from water and service feed water with a turbidity of up to 20 NTU. During filtration process, small particles go down into smaller and finer media levels. The cracks within these filters capture particles as small as 10 microns. The larger particulates that were blocked are captured on top of the filtration bed. Activated carbon filter systems always use carbon because it pulls attention to chemicals and contaminants and are strongly capable of taking out impurities, odors, and colors from water. A Water Softener is built and designed to eliminate minerals that produce hardness in water. To avoid negative outcomes such as clogged pipes, damaged boilers, and heated exchangers, using water softeners is highly recommended. Household, commercial, and industrial water systems suffer enormously from lime scale deposits because of the hard water. Lime scale build-up can exposed pipes to being clogged up and lowers the efficiency of hot boilers, tanks, and laundry machines. Water softener systems are made to improve the work and lengthen the life span of laundry machines, pipelines, solar heating systems, air conditioning units and many other water-based applications.

Water Challenges: Well water is one of several water sources that is treated for use in various industrial and commercial applications that require high-quality water. Treatment is necessary since well water usually contains high degrees of unwanted impurities such as suspended solids and turbidity. The larger concentration of suspended solids present results in a reduction in water quality. This outcome occurs in the form of turbidity which produces undesirable effects such as color alterations, smell, and taste issues in the water. Scaling can also result due to suspended solids and significantly hampers the performance of equipment and utilities utilized across industries. For these reasons, multimedia filtration systems are depended upon within applications that require high quality treated water. Media filtration has proven to be the most effective treatment method in regard to suspended solids reduction.

[custom-features]

Pure Aqua successfully manufactured and supplied water filter systems to a major company in Iraq to lower particulates, chlorine, organics, odor, and hardness from well water. Since their initial startup, the water filter systems have been running smoothly with minimal trouble-shooting. For satisfactory results, the systems took advantage of the following grades of media: Silica Sand, Anthracite, Activated Carbon, and Resin.

Silica Sand is a powerful type of sand that is capable of pulling back precipitates with impurities making it a highly effective filter media. Silica Sand is exclusively graded to be used in water filtration plants. Its primary features inlcude filter sand size, hardness, and angularity. These features guarantee proper filtration. -Anthracite is a special black coal that has been widely used as a water treatment especially during the ancient times. Anthracite is grinded to be utilized as a medium density filtration media. A small amount of sediments are allowed to deeply penetrate into the bed due to its cracked shape. It promotes extensive filter runs, reduced head loss, and lower backwash rates. Activated carbon is very similar to powdered and granular charcoal. It has a highly porous structure with a massive surface area. -Activated carbon effectively takes out chlorine and some heavy metals bound to organic molecules. It is strongly capable of removing larger quantities of contaminants from water than normal carbon. -Resin is an insoluble support structure that often times comes in the form of tiny beads made from an organic polymer substrate. Resin has a superior porous structure on the surfaces which are sites with easily trapped and released ions. Resin is made use in processes such as separation, purification, and decontamination. It is widely utilized in water softeners and water purification.
