Brackish Reverse Osmosis Assembly 9,000 GPD - Ghana

Product Description

The reverse osmosis system is capable of producing nine thousand gallons per day of high quality product water from a well water feed of five thousand PPM total dissolved solids. It has a series of pretreatment steps including pre and post chlorination, activated carbon filtration, and antiscalant injection.

Brackish water is water that is taken from estuaries and river openings. It salt concentration falls in between fresh water and seawater. Not as pure as fresh water, yet not as salty as seawater. Its mild salty concentration is discouraged for human consumption. To generate purified water from brackish water, a water filtration system relies on a method called "reverse osmosis" for assistance.

Pure Aqua is a global leader in reverse osmosis and water treatment systems. A commercial reverse osmosis system for brackish water treatment was completed for a major company in Ghana. It is scheduled to ship in August of 2014.
