Brackish Reverse Osmosis Systems 1500 GPD - UAE

Product Description

Since their initial startup, the systems have been operating properly with minimal mode troubleshooting. Brackish reverse osmosis systems are designed with the goal of removing massive amounts of salts, particulates, and other contaminants from wells, rivers, and lakes. In order to gain clean, potable water, the systems take use of a method called "reverse osmosis". Reverse osmosis is employed to reverse a natural process known as "osmosis". Osmosis deals with naturally carrying salt through a partially-porous membrane from a region of low solute concentration to a region of high solute concentration with the goal of acquiring an equilibrium of solute concentration on both sides of the membrane. Reverse osmosis combats osmosis by using a high pressure pump that exerts extreme pressure to the highly concentrated side of a semi-porous membrane, forcing only water molecules through the tiny pores of the membrane. Salts, particulates, and other contaminants are prevented from passing through and later dumped into a brine stream then into a drain. Potable water finally emerges and is collected at the lower end of the membrane.

[custom-specifications]

Brackish water is water that is taken from estuaries and river openings. It salt concentration falls in between fresh water and seawater. Not as pure as fresh water, yet not as salty as seawater. Its mild salty concentration is discouraged for human consumption. To generate purified water from brackish water, a water filtration system relies on a method called "reverse osmosis" for assistance.

[custom-features]

Five identical commercial reverse osmosis systems for brackish water treatment were supplied to a major company in UAE to treat well water. The BW-1.5K-140 systems were each designed to produce 1,500 GPD at a feed water TDS of a maximum 5,000 ppm, they were selected from our RO-200 series and were controlled by a microprocessor control panel.
