Commercial Reverse Osmosis Machines 9000 GPD - Sri Lanka

Product Description

Since the initial startup, the company has been receiving quality water and experienced minimal troubleshooting with the equipment. A reverse osmosis system is designed and built to remove salts, organics, and other disassociated species from brackish water. Brackish water can be found in areas such as estuaries and river openings. Brackish water falls between seawater and fresh water. It isn’t as salty as seawater, yet it is saltier than fresh water and obviously not recommended for consumption. To produce fresh, clean, and purified water from brackish water, a reverse osmosis system needs to consider employing a process called “reverse osmosis”.

Reverse osmosis removes large amounts of salts, organics,  and other disassociated species discovered in water by adding excessive pressure to the highly concentrated saline solution only permitting the solvent to pass through a partially porous membrane then into the lower concentrated solution. Salts, organics, and other disassociated species are rejected and discharged into the brine stream then into the drain. At the end, purified water emerges and then gathered on the lower end of the membrane.

Country: Sri Lanka

System/Product: Commercial Reverse Osmosis

Flow Rate: 9,000 GPD

Components & Brands:
- Multimedia filter
- Activated carbon
- Twin alternating softener
- Microprocessor control panel

[custom-specifications]

Estuaries and river openings are places where brackish water can be found. This type of water lies in between fresh water and seawater. It’s not as clean as fresh water, yet not so highly concentrated in salt as seawater. Even if it has a mild salt concentration, it is still not encouraged for consumption.

[custom-features]

Pure Aqua, Inc. designed a commercial reverse osmosis machine to a major company in Sri Lanka to remove hardness, chlorine, TDS, and odor from well water. The system included a multimedia filter to remove suspended solids, activated carbon to remove chlorine and odor, and a twin-alternating softener to remove hardness. The system was designed to produce 9,000 GPD at a feed water TDS of a maximum 2,000 ppm, it was selected from our RO-200 series and came complete with a microprocessor control panel.
