Reverse Osmosis Water Systems 4500 GPD - Sri Lanka

Product Description

The system applies pressure that exceeds naturally occurring osmosis and forces water toward a lower salinity. The water is pushed through a semi porous membrane. The membrane is made up of many layers and each layer is semi porous. A semi porous comparison would be a chain linked fence. A chain linked fence would allow small things through the holes, however, large things like a person or a car would not fit through the fence. Semi-porous is like a chain linked fence but on a smaller scale. The semi porous membrane will allow smaller water molecules through but not larger TDS. Next, the pure water cycles through and is available for usage. The concentrated water is discarded with as little harm to the environment as possible.

Brackish water is water that is taken from estuaries and river openings. It salt concentration falls in between fresh water and seawater. Not as pure as fresh water, yet not as salty as seawater. Its mild salty concentration is discouraged for human consumption. To generate purified water from brackish water, a water filtration system relies on a method called "reverse osmosis" for assistance.

Reverse osmosis water systems for a major company in Sri Lanka included five identical reverse osmosis systems, seven chemical injection systems for pretreatment, and ten identical multimedia filters. Each reverse osmosis unit was designed to produce and was selected from our . The multimedia filters were selected from our . From its initial start-up, the machine has been functioning properly with minimal trouble-shooting.

  • Minimal civil work and construction
  • Small footprint
  • Plug and play installation
  • High-quality components (Grundfos pumps, DOW Filmtec membranes, Codeline vessels, Pure Aqua microprocessor control panel)
  • High recovery design
  • High rejection membranes
  • Low energy and chemical consumption
