Water Challenges: Jails are generally areas where the water is extremely hard and industries are compelled to utilize water treatment systems such as water softeners to lower hardness within water to provide more quantities of clean drinking water, prevent harming equipment and other materials. Water that consists of high degrees of hardness brings minimal risks to human health but can be great nuisances and capable of reducing the effectiveness of physical properties within prisons such as pipes, fixtures, water heaters through scale buildup.
