Parts & Components for Reverse Osmosis RO & Water Treatment
The most significant form of the reverse osmosis process deals with the separation of purified water from seawater through the use of high-pressure pumps which drive the untreated water against one surface of the membrane. The concentrated solution of the feed water is left behind, while the salt-depleted water is transferred across the membrane. The result is the production of potable fresh water from the low pressure side of the water treatment system. Seawater desalination systems are manufactured to remove more than 99% of salt and TDS immersed in the ocean water in a cost-effective and reliable process.
