TWRO Systems 9000 GPD - Canada

Product Description

TWRO systems are designed and built to make fresh, potable water from brackish water suitable for everyday personal use. Many countries around the world have recognized the importance of having such systems for water purification. The way these systems produce potable water from filthy, contaminated water, they first utilize a process known as "reverse osmosis". Reverse osmosis deals with the use of a high pressure pump that applies high pressure to the highly concentrated side of a semi-permeable membrane, strongly moving water molecules through the tiny pores, while leaving contaminants behind. Purified water comes out and is gathered from the permeate side, while the contaminated water is thrown into the drain from the concentrate side. The average TWRO system consists of an activated carbon pre filter, a softener with brine tank, and semi-permeable membranes.

[custom-specifications]

Brackish water is water that is taken from estuaries and river openings. It salt concentration falls in between fresh water and seawater. Not as pure as fresh water, yet not as salty as seawater. Its mild salty concentration is discouraged for human consumption. To generate purified water from brackish water, a water filtration system relies on a method called "reverse osmosis" for assistance.

[custom-features]

Two identical tap water commercial reverse osmosis TWRO systems were designed for a major company in Canada. The systems included a duplex activated carbon filter and a twin alternating water softener. The two TW-9.0K-640 systems were designed to each produce 9,000 GPD at a maximum rate of 500 PPM TDS and came complete with a microprocessor control panel.Since their initial startup, the systems have been functioning accordingly with minimal trouble-shooting.
