Skid Mounted Commercial RO System 9000 GPD - Canada

Product Description

Reverse osmosis is a process which begins by applying extreme pressure to the highly concentrated saline side of a semi-porous membrane through the use of a high pressure pump. Extreme pressure is applied in order to move highly concentrated salty water across a semi-porous membrane, only allowing water molecules to flow through the tiny pores while salt and the other contaminants are rejected and later dumped into the drain from the concentrate side. This is when clean, purified water emerges on the permeate side and is ready to be collected for everyday use.

[custom-specifications]

Brackish water is water that is taken from estuaries and river openings. It salt concentration falls in between fresh water and seawater. Not as pure as fresh water, yet not as salty as seawater. Its mild salty concentration is discouraged for human consumption. To generate purified water from brackish water, a water filtration system relies on a method called "reverse osmosis" for assistance.

[custom-features]

A skid mounted commercial RO system was supplied to a major company in Canada. The RO system came complete with am activated carbon filter for chlorine removal and a water softener to remove hardness. It came pre-piped and wired all on one skid controlled by one microprocessor control panel. The system was designed to produce 9,000 GPD at a feed up to 1000 PPM TDS. The TW-9.0K-640 was selected from our RO-200 series. From its initial start-up, the system has been functioning accordingly with minimal trouble-shooting. Skid mounted commercial RO systems are systems that are designed to treat and produce purified water coming from wells, lakes, rivers, and even the sea. With the assistance of reverse osmosis, these systems are capable of removing massive amounts of salt and other contaminants found in water.
